| NEW THOMAS LANG TRACK AVAILABLE WITH SOUND '07 MAGAZINE
The Liverpool Echo has recently produced Sound ’07: a special magazine highlighting the variety of live music, which will be performed throughout Merseyside over the summer period. In addition it also contains news, features and interviews with Liverpool musicians from the past and present.
The good news for fans of Thomas Lang is the inclusion of a new track on the cover mounted CD. ‘The Masquerade is Over’ has become an audience favourite at his live shows and represents the first recording from Tom for some time. He originally encountered the song when a friend requested that he performed it at their wedding and it appears here in an acoustic form with only a piano and saxophone as accompaniment.
The magazine is available from newsagents across Merseyside for only £4.99 (with £1 donated to the Anthony Walker Appeal) or via the www.merseyshop.com.

| UNRELEASED LANG TRACKS + LAST.FM
UNRELEASED LANG TRACKS... Ian Ritchie has made available an unreleased Thomas Lang track on his website. The track is called "I Warned You" and comes from the late 1980's.
There is also an alternative, early version of "Away From You" for download. Both tracks can be downloaded from Ian Ritchie's website. Many thanks to John Jackson for spotting this!
LANG ON LAST.FM... Last.FM is a free online community that also gives you an online (streamed) radio station. I have set up a Thomas Lang group at last.FM, so feel free to visit the Thomas Lang page at Last.FM and join the group, and join in the discussion (when member numbers grow). You can see what Thomas Lang tracks are the most popular amongst Last.FM users, and do the same with your other favourite artists.
The Thomas Lang group can be found here.
You get your own online music profile that you can fill up with lists of the music you like. This information is used to create a personal radio station (which is streamed to your computer) and to find users who are similar to you. Last.fm can even play you new artists and songs you might like. It's addictive, it's growing, it's free, it's music.
Last.FM works by you installing a plug-in on itunes or whatever you use to play your music on your computer. Last.FM then loads details of what you have played onto your Last.FM profile page once you have signed up. The songs you play then show as personal charts on your online profile page - by track, artist, album etc. Other Last.FM users can see what you have played, leave messages, start discussions etc.

JOHN URIEL RIP
John Uriel, who many of you know from his work on the "Versions" album, and who wrote songs with Thomas in the late 90's, passed away recently.
"I would like to send my condolences to John's family and his partner Jane, as John passed away this month in Hong Kong aged 39. The songs we wrote together are very special to me and the memories surrounding the writing of them will always be with me.
Good night and God bless my old friend."

In The Round' also featured appearances
from Shack , Space

Thomas played 4 songs (the first 2 acoustic),

At one point mid-song, Tom opened his eyes and

lost in the song moments.
John left the stage, and Thomas was joined
